Blue Belt

Three Basic Movements:

  1. Side block
  2. Side block, reverse punch
  3. Single knife-hand strike, spin knife-hand strike

One Step Sparring:

  1. Bring both hands underneath and grab wrists, right downward knife strike to break grip, right punch to chest, step through with left foot, (still holding arm) and put their arm under armpit, lift to break elbow.
  2. Reach around and grab waist with right hand, left palm strike under chin.
  3. Grab sleeve with left hand, grab collar with right hand, right foot sweep, step over head with left foot, arm bar.

Form (Poom Say):

  • Taeguek Yuk Jang ( Water)

Kick: 

  • Back Hook Kick (Dwi dora chagi)

Break:

  • Back Hook Kick (Dwi dora chagi)

Korean Terminology: 

  • Sparring (Kyorugi)
  • Self Defense (Ho shin sul)
  • Breaking (Keok pa)
  • Demonstration (Shi bum)
